BBX Fitness x The One Show!

Bhangrathon - Group (1)

BBX Fitness class attendees were treated to more minutes of fame than they expected on The One Show, a daily, live, chat show on BBC One that features a mix of topical discussions, human-interest stories and high-profile celebrity guests. In the 24th February 2025 episode, Bally Bhogal of BBX Fitness, her team of instructors and class participants were featured doing Bhangra fitness, a high-impact dance fitness class based on a lively and energetic dance originating from the Punjab in India, which forms the basis of the structured workouts offered by BBX.

During the filming, part of the publicity drive for Angela Rippon’s ‘Let’s Dance’ Campaign to get the nation up and dancing, Bally expressed how she felt about being approached for creating a segment to specifically highlight how dance creates communities. She said:

“We were thrilled to be part of The One Show alongside Dr. Punam Krishan, who beautifully showcased Bollywood dancing – another Indian dance style – on Strictly Come Dancing recently!

We just love our Bhangra; it’s perfect for exercising, de-stressing, feeling happy and making social connections. We’re so lucky to have this amazing dance, culture, music and vibe that we can share with everyone.”
