Bhangra is a high-energy, celebratory dance that originates from the northern state of Punjab in India and was traditionally performed during successful harvests. Now, Bhangra is a popular dance form recognised in mainstream music and the pumping beats and big, extravagant moves makes it perfect to adapt as a form of exercise; Bhangra Fitness!

Bhangra Fitness is a whole-body cardio workout featuring lots of high knee lifts and big arm movements. It’s therefore an incredible calorie-burner; our clients report blasting between 400-600 calories on average in a 1-hr class.

Our classes are usually between 45-60 mins in duration. Either of these are good options to provide a great calorie burn and Bhangra blast!

Our classes are designed for participants aged 16+ who in general good health. The structure and teaching style in classes are designed to support multi-ability audiences with options to progress upwards or regress downwards to suit their health and fitness situations.

BBX Fitness is a CIMSPA-endorsed Training Partner which means that our training programmes are open to anyone with any interest in becoming a BBX certified Bhangra Fitness Instructor. Our training programme has been reviewed and endorsed by CIMSPA as a high-quality CPD training product earning attendees 10-CPD points aligned to the Group Exercise Instructor Level 2 qualification.

BBX Fitness is a CIMSPA-endorsed Training Partner which means that we can train anyone with an interested in Bhangra Fitness through our unique and only Instructor Training Course of its kind, to deliver classes for you. We do not charge partner fees, however classes must be advertised as BBX Bhangra Fitness Classes on partner timetables and Instructors must wear our branded uniform. We may also ask for feedback from our partners from time to time.
No. there is no minimum partnership period. We work with partners for as long as BBX Bhangra Fitness Classes continue to be successful. Simple!

We will provide you with all the know-how to get you started successfully, provide hints and tips on how to improve growth and retention of your members relative to our branded classes and how to make improvements from the feedback you receive from attendees.
